Buy Green Gifts This Holiday

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

This year, instead of looking to find the most popular or expensive gifts, why not “go green” — and support companies that are making things better for you and the planet?  Sustainable products have an essential counterpart:  buyers.  When you support green goods, you are helping to create a more stable, sustainable, just, and peaceful world.

I just wrote a little about this on one of my other blogs:

Believe me when I say they are really special; a couple of them are “limited editions” — we have limited supply.  So it you spot something you particularly like, you need to snag it early.  (Just warning you; I hate to disappoint folks!)  Hint:  it’s small and goes well with the bath products.  Sorry, you’ll have to wait to learn what it is until we get the shopping cart ready.

Of course, those of you who are long-time fans of Blue Eagle already know how great the products are.  if you find yourself always telling others about it, you should seriously consider becoming an affiliate; we reward you with a commission when those you refer make purchases from us.  It’s a lovely way to make a little extra cash — for something you are probably already doing!  Can’t get easier than that :-)

Here is where to find out more, and sign up.

And, if you will be traveling this year — or know someone who will — remember to get yourself some of the small size liquid smudge, and travel size bath salts and body wash,  They make fabulous hostess gifts and if you’re staying in a hotel they’re a must.

Stay tuned for more info about holiday specials.  In the meantime, do please go sign up to our mailing list (if you haven’t done that already) and start thinking about which great new items you want for all the special people on your list.

New 15 ml Liquid Smudge Size Added

Wednesday, October 12th, 2011

This month, Blue Eagle told us that they are discontinuing the popular 7.4 ml size spray bottles of Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge.  The main reason is so that customers can have their Liquid Smudge and Miwahimoon in the same size bottles, since it’s intended that you first clear the energy field with the Invocation, and then ground positive energy with the Miwahimoon.

This just makes sense, since the two products will be used about the same amount each time.  When Miwahimoon was introduced this year, it came in both 15 ml and 29 ml sizes; while Invocation already comes in the 29 ml size, up to now there was no 15 ml Liquid Smudge.  Now there is :-)   The 15 ml size is still very portable and fits easily into the purse, pocket, glove compartment or desk drawer.  It’s convenient and handy.

The Liquid Smudge is primarily a masculine energy — very penetrating and immediate; the Miwahimoon is its feminine counterpart, gentler and more subtle and longer-lasting.  The two fragrances are partners and energy-mates, each with a specific job to do.  Liquid Smudge clears; Miwahimoon settles positive energy into the cleared space, almost like the way females nest :-)

While you CAN use one without the other, most of our customers who are using both agree that now there is a much better way to deal with your personal energy and space.  Some customers have used the Invocation as a personal fragrance, and now many customers are also using the Miwahimoon as their personal fragrance as well.  After all, who would not want positive energy around them all day?

While we (and many of our customers) are sad to see the 7.4 ml bottles go, remember that you can refill them with the 100 ml dropper bottle.  Don’t throw any of your spray top bottles away!  The tops can all be removed (screwed off) — so that you can refill them. This is ecologically sound practice, and ends up being more cost-effective for you, too.

We are now taking pre-orders for the 15 ml Invocation , and should have the first stock in before the end of the month and from then on.

If you’d like to keep your 7.4 ml bottles, just order the 100 ml refill bottle when it gets low, and “top it up” with new Invocation.  (By the way, the 100 ml bottle will refill your 7.4 ml bottle about 13 times; that is a GREAT value!)

If you are starting to think about holiday gifts for friends, colleagues or loved ones, you might want to think about a set of Blue Eagle products; we will offering some wonderful special packages this year, so if you are not already on our mailing list, please join — that is how we will let you know how to get great deals here.  The link for the mailing list is right over in the sidebar; scroll down if you don’t see it at first — and then just enter your name and best email, and you’re in.  (We never share your information with others, so you needn’t worry about junk mail.)

Thank you for helping to make the planet more clean and clear!

Clearing Energy Fields After Storms and Trauma

Tuesday, August 30th, 2011

As many of our readers know, it is important to keep your energy fields clear once you have experienced disasters or trauma.  Even watching or hearing about disasters in other parts of the world can affect your wellness and your own personal energy field.

The bath products ~ body wash and bath salts, both with sea salt and Invocation(tm) ~ help your body to detoxify from chemicals and stress, and to deeply cleanse your skin and pores.

The Miwahimoon, the feminine counterpart to the Liquid Smudge, grounds positive energy for long periods of time into your space after you’ve first cleared it with the Liquid Smudge.

Together, you have a powerful arsenal of products to combat even the fiercest storms and disasters.  We are facing many earth changes, economic crises, and cultural shifts — not just in isolated local areas but as global movements.  This is a time of great upheaval and change — which of course also means great opportunity for those who are prepared.

Miwahimoon is Here!

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

Blue Eagle’s companion fragrance to the Liquid Smudge is finally here!  After years of research and development, the feminine counterpart to Liquid Smudge is ready:  Miwahimoon.

Miwahimoon

Miwahimoon is a Cree word that means roughly “something good is here in this place.” And boy is that true!  With the new product, you can ground positivity that will last all day into your space.

Here is the story about Miwahimoon — and all the details you might want to know about it.  (And yes, you can order now — we have them in stock!)

Every single person who has tried it, loves it.  Some of them say they HAVE to have both the Liquid Smudge AND Miwahimoon ~ and who can blame them?  These days, there are so many changes and challenges, it’s hard to stay on an even keel, never mind stay positive and upbeat.  Natural disasters.  Crime,  The economy.  Strange energies moving through the Universe.  Need I say more?  How the heck to you cope with it all?

One of the best ways is to allow Nature to help.  The source of all Invocation’s products are either wildcrafted or sustainably sourced; they are 95% organic — which is the highest proportion of pure botanical ingredients of any equivalent product made.  Blue Eagle and his people are justifiably proud of this fact, but more than that, the quality and care shows in the products themselves.

Bright Wings Inc, is the proud USA partner for Blue Eagle Invocation line of products, and we will be keeping you supplied with everything you need to navigate the changes with grace and ease.  Keep your body and your mind clear — for you were born for this moment, for this time.

Let Miwahimoon and the other excellent products in the Blue Eagle Invocation line serve you in your journey.

Invocation Body Wash now comes with sea salt

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

We have a new product to share with you today.  For those of you who tried the Blue Eagle Invocation Body Wash,, you know that it’s not the same as bath gel you might find in the stores.  For one, thing the Blue Eagle Invocation Body Wash is 100% plant-based ingredients.  Everything is either organically sourced or from wild-crafted sources.  That makes it different right away.  Everything is pure — no chemical additives.

The Body Wash isn’t new — it’s new and improved.  Because everyone loves the Bath Salts so much, Blue Eagle has added Fleur-de-sel (culinary sea salt) from the salt marshes of Gueraine, France, to the formula.  The new version is slightly thicker — and has more energetic cleansing power.  Fans of the Bath Salts who prefer showers will love the new formula.

We also have the original formula in case you prefer that version :-)

For those who aren’t “bath people” — and I confess I was one of them until I tried the Bath Salts — the Body Wash with sea salt is the next best thing.  Also, I’ve found that the body wash doubles nicely as liquid hand soap, particularly in areas where you want to keep the energy flowing nicely.  Restrooms in office buildings might do well to start using this instead of whatever other brand they use now.

And, since we know that the Liquid Smudge helps seniors who suffer from agitation or dementia to stay calmer, it would be great for nursing homes and hospitals, too.  I encourage people to try some, and find out how much it helps people release their negative energy quickly, along with the original formula of Liquid Smudge :-)

Announcing New Contest

Friday, October 8th, 2010

Recently one of our regular customers told us about how the Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) had helped her mother-in-law, who is in a nursing home and suffers from senile dementia, transform instantly from a complaining, negative person to a cheerful, loving woman.  The change was so remarkable and dramatic that the customer tried it several more times to be sure.

How she used it was to put the Invocation on her hands and then place her hands gently against the mother-in-law’s cheeks when she first greeted her.   As soon as the Invocation comes in contact with the mother-in-law, there is an immediate transformation — that lasts through an entire visit.

That got me to thinking.  About several things.

  • I thought about all the expensive pharmaceuticals that are prescribed annually for geriatric patients, that keep them drugged and can have powerful unwanted side effects.  Often the reason for the prescription is to keep the patient from becoming agitated.  What if there was a better way to handle it?  What if you could just spray the room with the Blue Eagle Invocation instead?  it’s safe, immediate, has no side effects, and is certainly affordable — either by the family members or by the nursing home itself.
  • I wondered what other unusual benefits Invocation customers have had with the Liquid Smudge.   Some people may be using it for things I would never have imagined.

So here’s what I decided to do.  From now until January 1, 2010, I will accept entries in a new contest.

Here are the rules:

1.  You have to be a buyer of the product.  (Be prepared to show receipt.)

2.  Tell us (in the comment section below) the way that you (or a family member) are using the Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge.  (Keep it clean please; this blog is moderated and we will not post information that is unsuitable for a general audience. Sexual content will not be published here.  Period.)

3.  Your comment must be posted below before midnight, December 31, 2010.

4.  You may post multiple entries, but you must give a different use for each entry.  No duplicates by the same person, please.  In other words, you can’t post the same thing more than once.  We will delete all duplicates posted by the same person.

That’s all.  We’re keeping it as simple as possible here :-)

Now that you have read the rules, here’s what the winner will get:
The winner will receive his or her choice of any two products in the Blue Eagle Invocation line, plus a Blue Eagle music CD of your choice.

Oh, and do you want to know who the judge will be?  We will ask Blue Eagle himself to pick the winning entry from among the posts!  We think that will be fair.

If you have any questions, or if anything isn’t clear about the rules, please tell us below and we will clarify it for you.

Now get ready and find the most unusual uses you can for the Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge!  And good luck.

Want a gift box for those bath salts?

Friday, October 8th, 2010

After some searching, we finally found a way to offer you a very nice gift box for the new Invocation(tm) bath salts (in both the 4 oz. and 16 oz. sizes.)

Blue Eagle Invocation Bath Salts

Blue Eagle Invocation Bath Salts

Now, if you would like to offer these great bath salts as very unusual, practical, and much-appreciated gifts, we can do this two ways:

1)  We can send them to you already inside an attractive white gift box, with green crinkle paper inside.

2)  We can send them to one or more people at a different address, with a gift card in your name and boxed as described above.

Here’s the page where you can get the new options for gift boxes (or drop ship):

Send someone a great gift

Let us know what you think of this idea?  We went to some trouble to get it ready, in time for the holiday season — hope you like it!

We’ve had a make-over!

Friday, October 8th, 2010

After months of planning, we are delighted to announce that our web site has had a makeover — we moved the whole thing to a blog platform, for several reasons:

  • We needed to find a new, more secure server.  This gave us the opportunity to take a few extra steps with the site, which we’d been wanting to do for a long time.
  • We wanted to add a blog — and this is it!  Voila!  One of the reasons to add a blog is to make it easier for you to ask questions, add comments, and to quickly learn what’s new.  We’ll be adding a few more “bells and whistles” soon, so make sure you’re on our mailing list to get notified of some VERY cool things we’ll be announcing.
  • We wanted to strengthen the platform.  The WordPress software does everything we need, and then some.

So we’re ready to grow — and connect with you in even more fun ways than ever before.

Your comments are always welcome (they are moderated to keep it G-rated and family-friendly) — and when you comment, you can get a link back to your own blog or web site too :-)

Look for more news real soon, and until then — thanks for making the world a greener, happier, more sustainable place!

“When you want essential oils, how do you choose between oils from organically grown and wildcrafted plants?”

The top two concerns when you are choosing essential oils are purity and potency. How do you know that you are getting the best essential oils, if you have two kinds to choose from: those made from wildcrafted herbs, and those made with organically grown herbs?

For some people, it really is a matter of preference – and it depends on which essential oils you want. For some kinds of essential oils (rose, for instance), it is important to know the country or region of origin, as well as whether it is wildcrafted or organically grown. Most people know that the best rose essential oils come from a region in Bulgaria; the roses may or may not be grown organically, and they almost certainly will not be wildcrafted.

The main difference between wildcrafted herbs or flowers and organically grown is that wildcrafted herbs generally are not grown under commercial conditions and, therefore, not subject to the chemicals and fertilizers that agricultural companies might apply to the soil or crop. So they will usually already be free of objectionable substances, which is one of the main reasons you would seek organic essential oils – for their purity.

As for the potency, some people feel that wildcrafted herbs and flowers may be more potent than their organically grown counterparts. That may or may not be true. Until widespread laboratory analyses are conducted to reveal scientific differences in compounds, you must compare the results of both kinds, to select what feels right to you.

The differences can often be simply in what you prefer: the pristine conditions of a plant grown entirely in Nature, with no assistance from humankind – or plants grown under careful organic or biodynamic standards, that ensure proper health and well-being of both the plant and the humans or animals who will ultimately benefit. Most of the time, both essential oils made from wildcrafted herbs and organic essential oils will give you the results you want – with none of the unwanted properties from commercially grown/chemically treated herbs or plants. After all, total well being is one of the reasons people turn to essential oils in the first place.

Another way to look at this situation is that sometimes you can use both oils made from wildcrafted herbs and organic essential oils. For instance, in making the Blue Eagle Invocation™ Liquid Smudge (made by traditional Native Americans in a sacred way), both wildcrafted and organically grown herbs and plants are used. The formula is stronger because of the careful way the ingredients are chosen, and in the way the essential oils and organic grain alcohol base are blended and prepared.

From long term experience with the Blue Eagle Invocation™ as well as with both kinds of essential oils, I would say that both wildcrafted and organic essential oils have merit and should be considered for any of your aromatherapy needs. Look first to what you want the oils to do for you, and how they will be used; then look for which kinds of oils will offer you the very best results for the purpose you have in mind.

Starting Out With Feng Shui: 3 Essential Steps

Monday, August 16th, 2010

“Here’s what you need to know before you start!”

If you are interested in the energy that moves through your space – and how it affects all the aspects of your life, from your health and well being to your finances to your relationships – then you should learn what the principles of feng shui can do for you. Feng shui is the art of arranging your physical space to assist the energy (or “chi”) to flow without hindrance. While the practice of feng shui originates from China, it also widely popular with people who care about how their spaces look and feel – and with what kind of life experience you have within those spaces.

Many books have been written on feng shui (find some good ones here at our Amazon.com store) especially as Westerners want and need to adapt the feng shui principles into the modern Western settings of their homes, offices, and buildings. Without going into the entire feng shui system, or all of its practices – which DOES take a book to deliver – we will share here with you the 3 essential steps you first need to know, to get you started.

1) The map. The Chinese call this 8-sided map the Ba Gua. The Ba Gua tells what kinds of activities properly belong in which parts of any given space, whether a room, an office, or an entire house. That is important information to know, if you wish to create harmony and good energy flow within your space.

The usual kinds of activities assigned to the eight areas of your space are:

Work/Career
Relationships/Love
Health
Fortunate Blessings (Prosperity)/Wealth
Center/Harmony
Helpful Friends/Networking
Creativity/Children
Spirituality/Connection with Source
Inner Fulfillment/Education

It is important to know where each kind of activity will receive the maximum life force energy – and what kinds of things will obstruct it. After you know that, it is simple to create an auspicious environment where what you wish to happen can easily and harmoniously unfold.

2) Clear the space. Before you even start to do feng shui work on a new or established space, you need to clear the energy that is already there. Why? Because energy attaches to surfaces, and can even be held within objects. It is important to learn how to clear and cleanse the area first, to remove stale or unwanted energies, and to invite new, fresh life force into the space.

While you can burn incense or “smudge” (Native American sacred herbs) before starting the feng shui process, there is a new product available that is even better at clearing energy from spaces. It is good for places where you can’t burn things, and for people who might be allergic to smoke. The product is called Blue Eagle Invocation™ Liquid Smudge. It is based on the traditional sacred herb formula and was created by traditional Native Americans in a sacred way.

The Invocation™ immediately reaches the stale or trapped energy in all areas of the space, dispels negativity, and provides a clean fresh new start. Invocation™ is actually more effective for feng shui than burning incense or herbs, because the properties of the ingredients are amplified, not consumed. And it can be used in places where it is not possible to burn things (such as office spaces, clinics or hospitals.)

In any case, you must consider how to best clear the space you wish to prepare for your feng shui work. Whether you choose to burn incense, herbs, or to use the new Liquid Smudge formula, the clearing must be done.

3) Install corrective elements to enhance and balance the energy of your space. This last step is the hardest part of feng shui work, but you can easily find what you need in any of the many great books on this topic at your local library, online, or here at our Amazon.com store.
