FAQs ~ Frequently Asked Questions About Blue Eagle Invocation(tm)

A customer’s recent questions reminded me that I wanted to put a Frequently Asked Questions guide here so everyone can read the answers.  There really are a bunch of questions that people often ask!  So. . . here are the answers.

  • Who is Blue Eagle?  Blue Eagle is a music healer and creator of the Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) line of products.  He is a tribally unaffiliated metis Native American who lives in Canada.  And yes, he is a real person!  A very nice one, too :-)
  • Where is the order page?  You will find the order pages for each group of products on the home page when you click the tab marked Shop Here.  A drop-down menu appears and you can click through to each group of products you like, or go to each section to learn more.  You can also navigate the site using the pull-down menu tabs in the same way.
  • My new bottle of Liquid Smudge is a different color than the last time I bought it.  Did they change the formula?  No, the formula is the same as it has always been from the start.  What DOES change, however, are the properties of the individual ingredients from season to season.  As we all know, some years are either cooler or hotter, wetter or drier; sometimes the plants get more nourishment and sometimes less.  Because many of the ingredients are wild-crafted, the particular properties of each plant may vary widely from season to season.  Of course, these variables may create a different color when the mixtures are complete.  There may also sometimes be a slight change in the fragrance from season to season, for the same reason — seasonal changes in the plants harvested.  But here’s what you can always trust:   the formula will always be the same, the ingredients will always be either wild crafted or sustainably sourced and of the highest quality,  and it will always be effective.  Blue Eagle guarantees it and personally tests each batch to make sure.
  • When should I use the Liquid Smudge?   The simple answer to this question is:  any time you want to clear the energy in your personal aura or in your space.  This will be a personal choice, based on how clear you want the energy fields around you and what’s happening within you.  You can use it any time and anywhere you like.  The only thing we would advise is to ask permission first, if you are using it in an area where there are others present, out of respect for their needs and preferences — because it will change the energy fields for them, too and you need to take their wishes into consideration before using the Liquid Smudge.  More information is given below, in the entry about ways to use Liquid Smudge.)
  • Where can I use the Liquid Smudge?  You can use it anywhere, even in places where you are not allowed to burn things (such as incense or candles.)  In modern healing settings such as clinics and hospitals, you are not allowed to burn anything — which makes the Liquid Smudge ideal for use there, as it was created for healers and for energy clearing, which is very useful in the healing process.
  • How much do I need to use each time?  One drop (or one spray) will clear your aura and your space.  The Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) is not an “air freshener” although it can certainly be used that way.  It is highly concentrated and powerful.  If you use more than one spray in a room, it will probably be too much and you will need to open windows to allow the fragrance to clear.
  • How long will it last?  How often should I use it?  After you have cleared your space, it should stay clear for several hours, at least.  It is recommended that you use the Miwahïmoon spray after you have cleared the space, if you want to maintain the energy fields for a longer period of time.  (See the entry below describing the differences between Liquid Smudge and Miwahïmoon.)  The effects of the Liquid Smudge may also be extended by using an aromatherapy diffuser.
  • What are all the ways I can use the Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge?  Here are some of the ways you may want to use the Liquid Smudge.  In your home, office, car, studio, gym, meditation space, healing centers, putting it into your pet’s carrier to calm them when they have to ride with you somewhere, caring for patients with dementia to help calm their agitation, clearing spaces where the energy of anger or pain has happened, house blessings, preparing spaces for sacred ceremony, and many more.  These are just some of the situations we know where using Liquid Smudge has been helpful.  You may discover others.
  • What is the difference between Liquid Smudge and Miwahïmoon?  There are two main differences between Liquid Smudge and Miwahïmoon.   The first difference is that Liquid Smudge is masculine in energy — it is penetrating, sharp and clearing.  Miwahïmoon is Liquid Smudge’s feminine counterpart — it is softer, permeating, and nurturing.  The second difference is that Liquid Smudge is immediate in its effect; it clears.  Miwahïmoon, on the other hand, grounds long-lasting positive energy into spaces that have already been cleared.  This is like the cooperative actions of two warriors, one who clears an area and the other who brings good things into cleared spaces.  They are meant to work together, to create wholesome living environments for all.
  • What are the bath products?  Bath products were developed from the original Liquid Smudge formula to assist people with clearing toxins from their skin and to help release stress from their bodies.  The Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge is in all the bath products, as well as fleur-de-sel sea salt from Gueraine, France — and other organic or wild crafted ingredients.
  • How do I listen to the music clips?  Go to the healing music page.  Scroll down to the individual music CDs.  Next to the description of each CD there are clips from each track (as in Track 1, Track 2, etc.)  When you click on each track, it will play a brief section from that track, so that you can hear what it sounds like.  Listening to the clips is the best way to find out what the CD sounds like, so that you can decide which ones you would like to purchase for yourself or for a friend.  If you want to order more than one CD, you may want to consider one of the special offers that allow you to choose your own selection for a discounted price.
  • What is the affiliate program about?  We’re happy to reward you for telling your friends and acquaintances about Blue Eagle’s fine products.  The affiliate program offers a way for us to compensate you for your thoughtfulness in spreading the word.  All you have to do is sign up.  You will be given your own, unique code to use when you tell others about Blue Eagle’s products, and when they buy the system will know that you sent them — and at the end of each month, you get paid a commission for your referrals.  We like to give you even more incentives to share the good news (we know you’re doing this already — so why not get a little extra spending money for it?)

Blue Eagle Invocation Bath Salts

Long a favorite among energy workers, Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) now also has a wonderful line of organic bath products featuring the Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge and  eco-friendly, sustainably-sourced ingredients that are carefully chosen to promote well-being and relief of stress. Organic bath salts are what to reach for, when you want something healthy and eco-sound.

Bath Salts containing fleur-de-sel sea salt from Gueraine, France (yes, the same culinary sea salt that has long been prized by top chefs around the world) was added to help balance the Ph of your body, plus organic jojoba oil to soothe and soften the ski, make bathing a real pleasure.  It’s so good you could almost eat it!  (But you probably shouldn’t — it’s for external use only.)

The unique blend is like nothing you have experienced before.  Most bath salts contain epsom salt or other mineral salts that dry the skin while the Invocation(tm) bath salts balance and refresh the skin without leaving an oily residue.  Your skin stays soft and supple without needing additional moisturizer afterward.

Forget about bubble baths!  They contain all kinds of chemicals that I don’t want on my skin — and their heavily processed perfumes make me want to sneeze.  They don’t feel good, make my skin itch, and their ingredients certainly aren’t healthy for you!  Bubbles may be fun — but they don’t actually DO anything for you.  The Invocation(tm) bath salts DO!

When I’m soaking in an Invocation(tm) bath it feels like being immersed in amniotic fluid — very pleasant and restorative.  Any toxins are pulled out naturally; tensions and stress just melt away; and I feel restored and refreshed afterwards.  No other bath salts or bathing experience even comes close to being this supportive to my system.  Plus, the Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge in the formula is very uplifting; its very formula removes negativity — which, when combined with the other ingredients — makes bathing truly restorative and refreshing.

You can use your Invocation(tm) bath salts to help you:

  • relax from a stressful day or week
  • tone your muscles after a workout
  • release toxins that accumulate from exposure to the atmosphere
  • detox from too much food, drink, or chronic stress
  • rebalance a sensitive system that sometimes takes on unwanted energies from others

All of these ways to use the Invocation(tm) Bath Salts work amazingly well.  If you want more of a detox bath, you would use more of the bath salts and hotter water.  For a more relaxing bath, use less bath salts and slightly less hot water.  You can calibrate the kind of bath you want by the temperature of the water and the amount of bath salts you use.

Blue Eagle recommends using up to 2 tablespoons per bath, but you can use less or more depending upon how you want to experience the bath and the results you seek.  You can experiment, too, to discover just the right amount for your needs; start out with less and add more if you choose.  A small amount will still be effective!

Some customers use the salt crystals like a scrub for the skin, before allowing the salt to dissolve in the water.  You can use them this way too, if you prefer.

New 15 ml Liquid Smudge Size Added

This month, Blue Eagle told us that they are discontinuing the popular 7.4 ml size spray bottles of Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge.  The main reason is so that customers can have their Liquid Smudge and Miwahimoon in the same size bottles, since it’s intended that you first clear the energy field with the Invocation, and then ground positive energy with the Miwahimoon.

This just makes sense, since the two products will be used about the same amount each time.  When Miwahimoon was introduced this year, it came in both 15 ml and 29 ml sizes; while Invocation already comes in the 29 ml size, up to now there was no 15 ml Liquid Smudge.  Now there is :-)   The 15 ml size is still very portable and fits easily into the purse, pocket, glove compartment or desk drawer.  It’s convenient and handy.

The Liquid Smudge is primarily a masculine energy — very penetrating and immediate; the Miwahimoon is its feminine counterpart, gentler and more subtle and longer-lasting.  The two fragrances are partners and energy-mates, each with a specific job to do.  Liquid Smudge clears; Miwahimoon settles positive energy into the cleared space, almost like the way females nest :-)

While you CAN use one without the other, most of our customers who are using both agree that now there is a much better way to deal with your personal energy and space.  Some customers have used the Invocation as a personal fragrance, and now many customers are also using the Miwahimoon as their personal fragrance as well.  After all, who would not want positive energy around them all day?

While we (and many of our customers) are sad to see the 7.4 ml bottles go, remember that you can refill them with the 100 ml dropper bottle.  Don’t throw any of your spray top bottles away!  The tops can all be removed (screwed off) — so that you can refill them. This is ecologically sound practice, and ends up being more cost-effective for you, too.

We are now taking pre-orders for the 15 ml Invocation , and should have the first stock in before the end of the month and from then on.

If you’d like to keep your 7.4 ml bottles, just order the 100 ml refill bottle when it gets low, and “top it up” with new Invocation.  (By the way, the 100 ml bottle will refill your 7.4 ml bottle about 13 times; that is a GREAT value!)

Invocation Body Wash now comes with sea salt

We have a new product to share with you today.  For those of you who tried the Blue Eagle Invocation Body Wash,, you know that it’s not the same as bath gel you might find in the stores.  For one, thing the Blue Eagle Invocation Body Wash is 100% plant-based ingredients.  Everything is either organically sourced or from wild-crafted sources.  That makes it different right away.  Everything is pure — no chemical additives.

The Body Wash isn’t new — it’s new and improved.  Because everyone loves the Bath Salts so much, Blue Eagle has added Fleur-de-sel (culinary sea salt) from the salt marshes of Gueraine, France, to the formula.  The new version is slightly thicker — and has more energetic cleansing power.  Fans of the Bath Salts who prefer showers will love the new formula.

We also have the original formula in case you prefer that version :-)

For those who aren’t “bath people” — and I confess I was one of them until I tried the Bath Salts — the Body Wash with sea salt is the next best thing.  Also, I’ve found that the body wash doubles nicely as liquid hand soap, particularly in areas where you want to keep the energy flowing nicely.  Restrooms in office buildings might do well to start using this instead of whatever other brand they use now.

Announcing New Contest

Recently one of our regular customers told us about how the Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) had helped her mother-in-law, who is in a nursing home and suffers from senile dementia, transform instantly from a complaining, negative person to a cheerful, loving woman.  The change was so remarkable and dramatic that the customer tried it several more times to be sure.

How she used it was to put the Invocation on her hands and then place her hands gently against the mother-in-law’s cheeks when she first greeted her.   As soon as the Invocation comes in contact with the mother-in-law, there is an immediate transformation — that lasts through an entire visit.

That got me to thinking.  About several things.

  • I thought about all the expensive pharmaceuticals that are prescribed annually for geriatric patients, that keep them drugged and can have powerful unwanted side effects.  Often the reason for the prescription is to keep the patient from becoming agitated.  What if there was a better way to handle it?  What if you could just spray the room with the Blue Eagle Invocation instead?  it’s safe, immediate, has no side effects, and is certainly affordable — either by the family members or by the nursing home itself.
  • I wondered what other unusual benefits Invocation customers have had with the Liquid Smudge.   Some people may be using it for things I would never have imagined.

So here’s what I decided to do.  From now until January 1, 2010, I will accept entries in a new contest.

Here are the rules:

2.  Tell us (in the comment section below) the way that you (or a family member) are using the Blue Eagle Invocation(tm) Liquid Smudge.  (Keep it clean please; this blog is moderated and we will not post information that is unsuitable for a general audience. 3.  Your comment must be posted below before midnight, December 31, 2010.

4.  You may post multiple entries, but you must give a different use for each entry.  No duplicates by the same person, please.  In other words, you can’t post the same thing more than once.  We will delete all duplicates posted by the same person.

That’s all.  We’re keeping it as simple as possible here :-)

Now that you have read the rules, here’s what the winner will get:
The winner will receive his or her choice of any two products in the Blue Eagle Invocation line, plus a Blue Eagle music CD of your choice.

Oh, and do you want to know who the judge will be?  We will ask Blue Eagle himself to pick the winning entry from among the posts!  We think that will be fair.

We’ve had a make-over!

After months of planning, we are delighted to announce that our web site has had a makeover — we moved the whole thing to a blog platform, for several reasons:

  • We needed to find a new, more secure server.  This gave us the opportunity to take a few extra steps with the site, which we’d been wanting to do for a long time.
  • We wanted to add a blog — and this is it!  Voila!  One of the reasons to add a blog is to make it easier for you to ask questions, add comments, and to quickly learn what’s new.  We’ll be adding a few more “bells and whistles” soon, so make sure you’re on our mailing list to get notified of some VERY cool things we’ll be announcing.
  • We wanted to strengthen the platform.  The WordPress software does everything we need, and then some.

So we’re ready to grow — and connect with you in even more fun ways than ever before.
